In the craft beer industry, the Whale is symbolic of the unattainable rare beer. The lost Ark. Hidden somewhere, but never found. This quest for perfection is what drives us. The Warped Wing Brewing Company beginnings, hearkens back to the first three brands visually depicted on our cans. Each of those cans highlight a whale as a visual metaphor. On a journey. All woven together with people and places that make Ohio a hot bed for history, invention and innovation. This wood sculpture embodies that. As the Whale carries the pilot brewery and its pre- cious cargo from the original brewery on Wyandot Street in downtown Dayton, O., it makes the epic flight south to another place we now call home.
